Trina Bindel is the first women's track and field member to go into the Wake Forest Hall of Fame since Michelle Sikes in 2018.

Bindel currently holds the Wake Forest school record in both the indoor and outdoor high jump along with the school record in the heptathlon. She held a total of nine school records while competing for the Demon Deacon women’s track team in the mid-1990s. Bindel currently ranks in the top three all-time at Wake Forest in the long jump, 100-meter hurdles and javelin.

She was named All-ACC four times, won the ACC outdoor track and field heptathlon twice, and was named an All-American in 1993, 1995 and 1996 in the heptathlon, and was an All-American in 1995 for the indoor high jump.
