Men's Soccer Moves To Sixth In Coaches Poll

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's soccer team moved up on place to sixth in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll. The Deacons are currently 9-0-4 overall and 1-0-2 in ACC play. Last week, Wake Forest fought to a 1-1 tie with then second ranked Duke.

There are four ACC schools in this week's poll. Duke moved up one spot and are now the top ranked men's team in the country. Wake is next at sixth, while Maryland is seventh. Virginia rounds out the list of ranked ACC schools at 20th.

The sixth-ranked Deacons will travel to College Park, Md. Saturday, Oct. 23 to take on the seventh-ranked Maryland Terrapins in a matchup of top 10-ranked ACC teams.
