WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.--The seventh-ranked Wake Forest men's soccer team will play host to the North Carolina State Wolfpack in the Deacons' ACC home opener on Saturday, Oct. 9. Gametime is set for 7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
The Deacons come into the game with a record of 7-0-3 overall and 0-0-1 in the ACC. The Wolfpack is currently 5-2-2 overall and 1-1-1 in ACC play. The all-time series is tied with each team having 10 wins along with one tie. Wake Forest has won the last five meetings in the series.
The 1989 men's soccer team will be honored at the game. The '89 team was the last Wake Forest team to win the ACC championship. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for students 18 and under. Admission is free for Wake Forest faculty, staff and students with their university identification.
