BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Marie Ferdinand scored 23 points and DeTrina White had 13 rebounds Wednesday night to lead No. 13 LSU to a 63-52 win over Wake Forest.

April Brown, Katrina Hibbeft and reserve Ke-Ke Tardy also had 10 points apiece for LSU (9-1).

Tigers coach Sue Gunter moved within three victories of joining just three others as the only coaches in women's basketball history to win 600 or more games.

Heather Miller scored 17 points and Brenda Kirkpatrick had 12 for Wake Forest (3-6).
