Deacons Play First Exhibition Tonight Vs. Global All-Stars Wake Forest, anxious to begin the 2000-01 season after finishing last year on a positive note, hosts the Global All-Stars tonght in an exhibition game at Lawrence Joel Coliseum (7:30 p.m./no TV). Tonight's game is the first of two preseason exhibitons for the Demon Deacons. They'll entertan the Latvia All-Stars (not Lithuania, as previously reported) Wednesday night at Lawrence Joel Coliseum (7:30 p.m./no TV).
The Global All-Stars should provide a banged-up Wake Forest team with a challenge. The All-Stars came up just short in a 79-76 loss at Georgia Monday night.
