WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) - Georgia Schweitzer and Missy West scored 12 points each Monday night as No. 14 Duke routed Wake Forest 69-38.

The Blue Devils (20-4, 9-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) held Wake Forest to just 28 percent shooting from the field for the game and 18 second-half points.

The Demon Deacons (6-17, 2-10) were ahead 14-12 after Janae Whiteside's running jumper 9:15 into the game. But Duke went on a 15-6 run to close the half.

The Blue Devils stifled any chance Wake Forest had of closing the gap in the second half with a 19-6 run, going ahead 46-26 on West's layup with 12:17 remaining.

Michele Matyasovsky added 10 points for Duke, which last held an opponent to fewer than 40 points since limiting both Manhattan and Rutgers to 38 points in consecutive wins in December 1996.

Whiteside led Wake Forest with nine points.
