Barnard Resigns As Assistant Strength Coach

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Assistant strength & conditioning coordinator Jeff Barnard has resigned his position at Wake Forest to become the head strength & conditioning coach at Eastern Kentucky University, it was announced today.
Barnard has been a part of the Demon Deacon staff for three years, working with numerous varsity sports including football, women's basketball and baseball. A 1994 graduate of Illinois State, Barnard served as a graduate assistant strength coach there for three years while obtaining his master's degree in exercise physiology. He was a two-year letterwinner in baseball for the Redbirds and also served as assistant baseball coach at ISU in 1994.
A certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.), Barnard will complete his tenure at Wake Forest this week.
