BCA Classic Men's Basketball Tourney Matchups Announced

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Gazelle Group is pleased to announce the match-ups for the 2000 BCA Classic men's college basketball tournament.
The BCA Classic will take place on November 16th and 17th and will feature Wake Forest, Houston, Air Force and Mt. St. Mary's. The Event will be held at Wake Forest's Lawrence Joel Coliseum. Television coverage for the event will be announced in the near future. The match-ups for the Event are as follows:

"We are honored to host this year's BCA Classic," said Wake Forest head coach Dave Odom. "We are very supportive of the Black Coaches Association in its mission to provide more coaching and athletic administration job opportunities for minorities throughout the NCAA and professional sports. This event will continue to spread the word about the BCA mission."
This will be Joe Scott's first game as head coach of Air Force. Scott, who played for legendary coach Pete Carril and was also an assistant coach at Princeton, intends to introduce a "Princeton-style" at Air Force. Air Force will be playing in only its second NCAA certified exempt event in the school's history. "Playing in the BCA Classic is both a challenge and an opportunity for us at Air Force," said Scott. "This event gives us an opportunity to support the Black Coaches Association and also play high profile competition."
Ticket information for the event will be available in the near future.
The Black Coaches Association is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to foster the growth and development of minorities at all levels of sports, both nationally and internationally.
