Tonight's attendance of 4,457 set a new school home attendance record. The previous record of 4,031 was set on Jan. 16, 2000 versus North Carolina at Joel Coliseum.
Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick set a career scoring record of 22 points. Her previous high of 20 points came against Furman on Dec. 17, 1999.
North Carolina set a season-low with 18 field goals and shot a season-low 29 percent from the field. From the line, however, the Tar Heels shot a season-high 83.8 percent (31-of-37).
