Women's Soccer Adds Liberty To Schedule

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - The Wake Forest women's soccer team has added a game to its schedule. The Demon Deacons will host Liberty at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at Spry Stadium. The added match brings Wake Forest back up to a full 17-game slate, after canceling its trip to Los Angeles, CA, Sept. 14-16 to play Southern California and Loyola Marymount in the LMU Fila Invitational because of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The Demon Deacons added a game at Tennessee the following week and have now added the home game against Liberty for Oct. 30.
The Flames, 7-5-1 on the season, will return to Spry Stadium seeking revenge for the 6-1 thrashing Wake Forest gave them Nov. 8, in the first round of the NCAA Tournament last year. It will be the last regular season home game for the 7-5-1 Demon Deacons.
