WAKE FOREST BASKETBALL NOTES
Dec. 7 Game Time Finalized
Wake Forest's home basketball game against South Carolina State, scheduled for Dec. 7 in Lawrence Joel Coliseum, will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. All previous schedules have that game listed as 'TBA.'
Midnight Practice Is Friday Night
Wake Forest will revive 'Midnight Madness' (or 'Madness 101 with Professor Prosser') Friday night at Reynolds Gym. Doors open at 10 p.m. and admission is free, but the event will be open only to the first 2,000 fans. At midnight, the team will hold a brief intra-squad scrimmage.
The Deacons will hold their first true practice session on Saturday. Most practices this season will be held in the Kenneth D. Miller Center on campus. Practices are not open to the public, except by invitation only.
Deacons Ranked 21st By Vitale's Magazine
Dick Vitale ranks Wake Forest 21st in his preseason publication, Dick Vitale's Basketball. Vitale was in the minority, however, when it came to ranking the Deacons. The Sporting News, Basketball News and SLAM Magazine all failed to include Wake in their respective preseason top 25 polls.
