ACC Announces Preseason Soccer Polls

WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- The Atlantic Coast Conference released its preseason women's soccer poll Thursday. Wake Forest was ranked fourth. North Carolina is the favorite.

The Demon Deacon women earned 35 points for fourth place in the coach's poll. Wake Forest returns all but one starter from last year's squad that finished the season ranked 23rd in the nation with an 11-8-2 overall record and tied for second in the league with a 4-3 ACC mark.

Wake Forest will host preseason exhibition matches at Spry Stadium before beginning the season on the road.
