Forster Joins Wake Forest Men's Soccer Staff

Winston-Salem, NC -- Wake Forest men's soccer coach Jay Vidovich announced the hiring of Paul Forster as assistant coach on Monday. Forster joins the Demon Deacons after a spending one season as the head coach at North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount.
Forster will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the soccer office, on-field coaching and will assist in recruiting.
"We've very excited and fortunate to have Paul join our coaching staff," head coach Jay Vidovich said. "He brings a lot of experience on both the youth and college soccer levels. He will help our student-athletes reach their aspirations both on and off the field."
"I am very excited to be a part of the coaching staff at Wake Forest," Forster said. "It is a fantastic opportunity to work at such a prestigious institution as Wake Forest. I will be surrounded by quality people. I look forward to the challenge ahead as we push for a national championship."
Forster bring several years collegiate coaching experience to Wake Forest. Prior to his stint at North Carolina Wesleyan, Forster was an assistant coach for two years at the University of Buffalo. From 1998 to 1999, he was an assistant at UNC Wilmington.
Forster has extensive experience as a coach on the youth level having been involved with programs in Buffalo and Wilmington.
A native of Newcastle, England, Forster played four seasons at UNC Wilmington and captained the team. He earned his degree in 1998 and was a member of the Dean's List. He received a master's degree in educational administration from the University of Buffalo in 2001.
