Head Coach Jim Grobe
On Oregon: "They're a real good football team. They're physical and well-coached. We know we've definitely got our work cut out for us."
On the team's health: "We're better. Early on, we were very concerned. Calvin (Pace) has practiced the last three days and he might play. James MacPherson seems to be having no problems. It'll be a game-day decision. Right now, as a team, we're as good as we've been."
On the team's practices in Seattle: "We've practiced well out here. We've been fairly sharp. Yesterday, we were inside at the University of Washington's indoor facility. The field here at Lake Washington (High School) is very nice."
On getting national exposure on ESPN: "If we play well, it's great. If we don't play well, I don't know how that helps us. I think with both teams getting healthy, it ought to be a heck of a game."
On Calvin Pace:
"He's got good speed. He's an athlete. He's one of our big play guys. When he's in the game, we can rush three and still get good pressure. When he's not in the game, we have to bring more people and that hurts our coverage. If he's healthy for us, he gives us a presence on defense and gets us out of a lot of drives. You can't put a value on that. He's important to us, no question."
Tarence Williams
On his health: "Health-wise, I feel really good. Coming out here, I sort of expected to have my legs feel like Jell-O but I feel pretty good. Coach Grobe has kept us fresh and that's a good thing. Personally, I look forward to doing some big things in this game and I know my teammates do, too."
On Calvin Pace: "It sounds like Calvin will play. I'm sure he'll play well and just knowing he's ready will give us a lot of confidence."
Fabian Davis
On the team's practices in Seattle: "We started out a little rusty - a few mental lapses. But I think we're clicking now. We're ready to play."
On Oregon: "They're a lot like us. They don't give up and they've got some great playmakers. It should be a good game."
