Wake Forest Football to Host Family Fun Fest

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest football team, in conjunction with the athletic marketing department, invites fans of all ages to Family Fun Fest at Groves Stadium on Saturday August 17 between 1:00-2:30 p.m. There will be no charge for admission.

The event will give fans the opportunity to meet members of the 2002 Wake Forest football team. Fans are invited to bring their cameras to take pictures with their favorite players. Selected Demon Deacons will be available at autograph tables. Fans can get in the action by attempting field goals in the north endzone and additional players will be on hand to play catch. There will be an opportunity to get an inside look at the football program through interactive equipment and training room exhibits.

Wake Forest opens its 2002 season on the road on August 29 at Northern Illinois. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Net Chicago.
