Wake Forest Alumni co-captains Brad Kendall and Mark Kent led the Demon Deacon alumni to a convincing 19-point win to start off the week of the inaugural International Collegiate in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Using the stableford system, the Deacs raced out to an early lead at Turnberry on Monday, September 2nd. Andy Ralston, Skip Klohn, Ed Seier and Frank Collina spearheaded the attack with 30+ points apiece. Day two found the alums at Glasgow Gailes, where they continued as the overnight leaders. The final day was played at historic Preswick. The Demon Deacon alumni, needing points late, found them as Ron Leap, Bea Leap, Doris Millard and Joe Millard all came through in the last group. As captains Kendall and Kent watched, the Leaps and Millards posted 30+ points to seal the deal.

This was the first year of a new annual event and one that will be remembered very fondly by the Wake Forest Men??s Golf Team. Special thanks to Andy Ralston and the Pittsburgh crew: Frank Collina, Ed Seier, and Minnesotan Skip Klohn, Brad ??Reload?? Kendall, Mark Kent, Bea Leap, Ron Leap, Doris Millard and top point man, Joe Millard. Also, a special thanks to Jay Helvy for his contribution to this event.

Thank you, again, everyone. This was awesome!
