Miscellaneous notes
-- Wake Forest held its second straight opponent to less than 30 percent shooting. Loyola managed just 29% from the field on Nov. 21, while Hampton shot 22.8 percent Monday night.
-- The Deacs had at least three players in double figures for the second consecutive game. In fact, three different players reached the double digit plateau Monday night giving WFU six players this season to score 10 or more points in a single game.
-- The Demon Deacons also forced 20 or more turnovers for the second consecutive game. Wake Forest forced 23 against Loyola on Nov. 21, then forced 28 more against Hampton Monday night.
-- The Deacs did lose the battle of the boards for the second straight game. Loyola outrebouned Wake Forest, 45-38, while the Lady Pirates won the battle of the boards, 43-41, Monday night.
