The Jerry Haas 2003 Golf Camp

2/26/2003 12:00:00 AM | Men's Golf

The Jerry Haas Golf Camp at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, gives young golfers, ages 11 to 18, a unique opportunity to live on a college campus and learn golf from some of the best in the business. That best includes Haas, head coach for the #3-ranked Men's Golf Team at Wake Forest, Wake Forest graduate, and former pro on the PGA and NIKE tours.

Coach Haas and his staff of other college coaches serve as camp counselors and golf instructors during each session. Campers receive personal instruction every day, covering everything from the short game to the rules of golf. Whether a novice or a future pro, lessons learned here will last a lifetime.

While golf is the major focus of this camp, other activities such as basketball, ping-pong and tennis are also available for the participants during their free time. The cost of $1,150.00 is all-inclusive: meals, lessons, video lesson, a goodie-bag, housing in the modern, air-conditioned Arnold Palmer dormitory, and golf at Tanglewood Park.

For more information, or to receive a camp brochure for the 2003 camp sessions, call the Wake Forest University Golf Office at (336) 758-6000 or e-mail Laura Statham at stathals@wfu.edu.
