Winston-Salem, NC - Wake Forest women's soccer head coach Tony da Luz announced the signing of seven outstanding athletes that will join the Demon Deacons this fall. Tracie Abbott (Columbus, OH), Tara Caldwell (Sacramento, CA), Lindsey Jaco (Dallas, TX), Kristen Kemp (Highlands Ranch, CO), Elizabeth Remy (Norman, OK) and Taylor Toombs (Dallas, TX) have all signed letters of intent to compete for Wake Forest next year.
Tracie Abbott - Columbus, OH (The Wellington School) - Midfield
Complied 52 goals and 72 assists for the Wellington school as a junior ... school record holder for most assists in a season with 38 ... First team All-League and All-District as a sophomore and junior ... Voted team MVP ... Olympic development player that has attended regional camp for three years.
Tara Caldwell - Sacramento, CA (The Pendleton School/St. Francis) - Defender
Three-time varsity letter winner at St. Francis Academy before transferring to The Pendleton School ... 2001 and 2002 First Team All-City League ... 2000 Second Team All-City League ... Helped St. Francis to three Metro League Championships (2000-2002).
Keisha Garrick - Bramalea, Ontario, Canada (Bramalea S.S.) - Midfield / Defender
