SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - The Boston Celtics traded the rights to forward Darius Songaila to Sacramento on Monday for the Kings' second-round draft choices in 2003 and '05.

The trade leaves the Kings with no picks in Thursday's draft.

Songaila, the 50th overall pick in last year's draft, never played for the Celtics. He averaged 12.8 points and 3.9 rebounds for CSKA Moscow in the Russian A Superleague last season.

The 6-foot-9 Lithuanian played four seasons at Wake Forest, and he has played in the Olympics and the European Championships.

"Darius had a terrific season in Europe last year after an outstanding collegiate career at Wake Forest," said Geoff Petrie, the Kings' president of basketball operations. "He's a skilled big man who should be a good complement to our roster."
