Time Set For WFU Football Season Opener

The 2003 Wake Forest football season will kickoff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 30 when the Demon Deacons face Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The game will not be televised.

Other known game times include the Sept. 6 home game versus NC State (12 noon) and the Sept. 13 home tilt with Purdue, also at 12 noon. The NC State game will be televised by ABC, while the Purdue game will be carried by ESPN.

Kickoff times for the remaining WFU games are not known at this time, but will be announced as soon as they are made available.
