Join Deacon Football at Winston-Salem Warthogs game Thursday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Join the Demon Deacons at historic Ernie Shore Field on Thursday, Aug. 21 for Wake Forest Football Night at the Winston-Salem Warthogs baseball game. The Warthogs will be hosting the Myrtle Beach Pelicans in a 7:15 p.m. start.

WFU head coach Jim Grobe will be on hand to meet with fans. The Demon Deacon mascot will also be in attendance, and will throw out the first pitch. The Seattle Bowl championship trophy will be displayed and free 2003 schedule posters will be available. In addition to being able to purchase tickets at the stadium, fans will also have a chance to win WFU apparel and tickets throughout the game.

Students, faculty and staff with a WFU ID can purchase discounted tickets -- $3.00 bleacher seats -- in advance or at the door. For more information, contact the Warthogs Ticket Office at 336-759-2233.
