Redshirt junior Blake Lingruen played in every game during 2002 and made his first career start at Purdue. Lingruen developed into a very solid, consistent player last season and will be asked to take the majority of snaps at center this fall for the Deacs.

Q: What is your most memorable sports moment?
BL: Shellacking Oregon in the Seattle Bowl.
Q: Who is the funniest guy on the team?
BL: Chad Rebar tries his best to be, but just doesn't get it done. I would have to go with Brian Woychik, the kid is just plain comedy.
Q: If you could only beat one team in the ACC this year, who would it be and why?
BL: Florida State because we're still bitter about last year's loss.
Q: What is your ideal way to spend a Friday or Saturday night during the offseason?
BL: Hanging out with friends and trying to stay out of coach Grobes' knot head group.
Q: Who on the team has the most style?
BL: AY (Anthony Young). The kid has never worn the same outfit twice.
Q: What is your favorite spot on the Wake Forest campus?
BL: The new football lounge.
Q: What is your favorite place to vacation?
BL: Well if you asked my mom, she would say its Disney World.
Q: Name a few CD's that you've been listening to lately.
BL: Taproot, Linkin Park, Audioslave and you will never find me without Incubus or Coldplay.
Q: What are the best and worst parts about gamedays?
BL: The best part is owning the opposing team and the worst part is missing the great tailgate parties I always hear about.
Q: What is one goal that you've set for yourself this season?
BL: Play my best on every play, and to do whatever is possible to get the Deacs back to a bowl game.
