WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest's Jeremiah White was selected as the College Soccer News National Player of the Week, the publication announced on Monday. White scored two goals and one assist in two weekend victories against 10th-ranked Connecticut and fifth-ranked St. John's.
The senior All-American from Lansdowne, Pa., was easily the most dangerous offensive threat of the weekend, tallying ten shots in the two games to make the Wake Forest adidas Classic All-Tournament team. He assisted on a goal during Friday's game against Connecticut. On Saturday against St. John's, White's first goal tied the game. His second goal put the game out of reach, making it 3-1.
The Demon Deacons, ranked third in this week's College Soccer News top 25, travel to Virginia Tech on Friday night to play Virginia Tech.
