Women's Soccer To Host #3 Virginia

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's soccer team will look for its first ACC victory of the season tonight as the Demon Deacons host #3 Virginia at Spry Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
The Deacons are currently 6-3-1 overall, while the Cavaliers post an undefeated 9-0-0 record. This past weekend, the Deacs entered ACC competition, where they fell to Virginia Tech, 3-2 and Duke, 2-0. This marks the first time in 2004 that Wake Forest has dropped two consecutive games.
For the Cavaliers in conference competition, Virginia defeated Miami, 4-0, and Florida State, 1-0, while taking home victories over UCLA, West Virginia and East Carolina in non-conference action.
After Virginia, the Deacs will travel to Florida State Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
