  • Junior quarterback Cory Randolph and sophomore offensive lineman will start their 20th straight game today.
  • Senior linebacker Brad White will see his streak of 32 straight starts come to an end today. He had started every game of his Wake Forest career.

Gattis In The Right Place At The Right Time...
Josh Gattis' fumble recovery on the game's opening drive was his third of the season, which leads the ACC. It was also his second forced fumble.

Raising The Bar-clay...
Chris Barclay continued his climb on Wake Forest's all-time rushing yards list. In his third carry of the day, he passed Topper Clemons for fifth place. He surpassed the 2,500 career rushing yards during the second quarter. In the third quarter, Barclay reached 100 yards -- his seventh career 100 yard rushing day. He also passed Morgan Kane and Tarance Williams for third place in the fourth quarter. His 134 yards on the day give him a career total of 2,611. Only James McDougald (3,811) and Michael Ramseur (3,325) stand in front of him in the Deacon career rushing record book. His second quarter touchdown was his 5th of the year, the 26th of his career and pushed him into seventh place all-time on the Wake Forest scoring chart.

Rare Randolph Interception...

Freshman Connection For Touchdown...
A pair of redshirt freshmen connected for Wake Forest's first touchdown. Ben Mauk hit Kevin Marion on a 30-yard touchdown pass. It was Marion's first career touchdown and Mauk's second career touchdown pass.

Andrews Gets Into The Endzone...
Micah Andrews' touchdown in the third quarter was his sixth of the year, establishing a new Wake Forest record for most rushing touchdowns by a redshirt freshman, previously set by Mark Young in 1986.

Plack Attack...
Ryan Plackemeier's 57-yard and 54-yard punts in the fourth quarter were his 12th and 13th 50+ yard punts of the season.

Close Call...
The last time a Wake Forest and Duke game was this close was in 2000, when the Deacons walked away with a 28-26 victory. Today's win marks the fifth straight for the Deacons, the longest streak in the all-time series.
