Alli Hunt and Sarah Kozey Named to All-ACC Team

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - - Senior Alli Hunt and junior Sarah Kozey were both named to the 2004 All-ACC Second Team, as announced Monday by the conference office. This is the first all-conference team selection for Hunt, while Kozey was name to the All-Freshman squad in 2002.
Hunt, a native of Charlotte, N.C. has been a dominating force in the Deacon backfield, while netting her first collegiate goal against Maryland, helping Wake Forest defeat the Terrapins in the final home game of the season. Starting all 17 games for the Deacs in 2004, Hunt has also found two assists.
A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kozey currently leads the Deacs with 12 goals on the season, which ties her for the most goals in a year. As a junior, she has totaled 27 career goals, which gives her sole possession of the third most career goals in the program's history. In 2004, Kozey has also found three game-winners, in addition to four assists.
Hunt, Kozey and the rest of the Wake Forest women's soccer team will enter the ACC tournament against Duke on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at the SAS Soccer Complex. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
