"I don't know if I've ever been involved in a 40-point win, where I felt like we didn't play so well. We scored 97, but I felt that we never had the pace of the game like we wanted. In our previous games, we were dictating the tempo and dictating the pace, and I never felt like we had the pace that we wanted tonight. We weren't moving quickly, and we certainly didn't dictate defensively the way we want to. Still, we held them under 60 points, so we must have done something right. We won by 39."
"I'm happy with our team. Over the course of the season we're going to have to win some games where you don't play as well as you want to. We didn't play as well as we wanted to today. There will be days where we will play well and play better. We did some things right; we shot the ball great from the free throw line and shot the ball okay from the three-point line. We shot the ball really well in the second half from the field. Again, we did some things right, but I'm very concerned with our ball possession. We had 24 turnovers, and you can't win a league game with that many turnovers."

"It feels really good. We worked really hard in the off-season, harder than we've ever worked before. So we're just happy with the results that seeing. It's the rebirth of the Lady Deacs. Everyone worked very hard in the off-season. We had set workout schedule that everyone did. Everyone is giving a sacrificial effort. Coach P is so positive and instills so much confidence in every one of his players. It's really hard to not want to give every effort for him and not want to play really hard for him."

"We're working relentlessly right now. We have a sacrificial effort from everybody right now. It's a team effort and we're really excited to get off to such a great start. There's always room for change. Coach P brings so much energy to the game, which we feed off completely. It's a different team. It's top to bottom."
