Today is the second day of Hawaii!! We have had a very adventurous day, from our walk to breakfast, to swimming with the fishes! Our day initially started when we woke up at 8am and had a nice brisk walk to breakfast. Some of the entrees were traditional others had their own Hawaiian twist and everything had its own taste.
After breakfast we headed to practice, although our bodies were still adjusting from the time difference, we still managed to get through practice and get in some good work. I have to admit that the hunger for this game increases as the days go by, especially after the ECU victory we are getting excited for the Houston game on Friday.
Following practice the girls and I were getting geared up for our under-water adventure! At first everyone was a little anxious to go snorkeling with the fish, especially after the lovely instructor informed us of the many dangers that could take place under the water. But we got in the water anyway, and saw so many different fish. This truly was a great and memorable experience, one that the players, coaches and parents as well will never forget
At the close of the day we will have a tournament banquet were our coaches and players will be recognized. Needless to say there is one thing on my mind at that banquet... FOOD! As we continue to get ready for the game we will also enjoy our time in Hawaii and the hunger for these victories will grow more and more. Until next time, Go DEACS!
