Honolulu, Hawaii -
It is the third day in Hawaii and each day keeps getting more exciting and adventurous. Indeed we are anticipating when we play Houston, but for the time being we are still enjoying this beautiful place. Coach told us to start gearing down from Hawaii to focus on the task that we have coming up.So we continue to enjoy the scenery and at the same time stay off our feet as much as possible so we can save our legs for the game.
The highlight of today though came at dinner, where we ate at a place that overlooked the Pacific ocean, Shorebirds. This was a resturant connected to a hotel located on a beach long with shops and other tourist attractions. Interestingly enough this resurant required the guests to cook their own meat, and this was a comedy within itself. All the girls were attempting to cook their own meat on a huge grill inside the resturant which some did not have too much success. At the end of our meal we were met with a pleasant sunset coming over the water, some girls took pictures of the sunset while other took pictures with real life parrots!
The day came to an end when we watched Houston take on Hawaii in the opening games of the tournament. Houston struggled slightly in the beginning but ended up beating Hawaii, now it is up to us to put in the work and come out victoriously. Thanks for reading my diary of Hawaii. Go DEACS!
