Redshirt sophomore Nate Morton sits down to answer a few questions on the upcoming season for WakeForestSports.com. Here is what he had to say:
Q: What excites you the most about the 2004 season? Is there any particular game that you are looking forward to this year?
NM: "I think improving upon last year and just going to a bowl game. That is our biggest goal. The first game is really big. I am looking forward to going to Clemson because a bunch of my family is going to be there and it is just a big game."
Q: You threw a 42-yard pass last season - do you have any other tricks up your sleeve?
NM: "I hope so. I don't know right now, but hopefully there will be another opportunity like that this season."
Q: Was it a tough transition to change from quarterback to wide receiver? Do you miss throwing the ball?
NM: "Yes, I think it was at first because I have never been a receiver before, but everyday I improve on something new so I am really enjoying it. I think every quarterback that changes position does miss throwing the ball."
Q: What was it like going to Hargrave Military Academy?
NM: "Oh, man. That was an experience to say the least. It was really tough. It was a military lifestyle and there wasn't anything to do there except play ball. After we got into the season and everything, it was alright."
Q: You have a birthday coming up on September 2 -- Do you have any special plans?
NM: "Besides getting ready for Clemson, I will probably spend it with somebody special..."
