Q: You have your first scrimmage tomorrow. How are you feeling so far?
CR: I feel great. I am a little sore. I have a little hamstring strain right now, so I don't know how much action I am going to see tomorrow. I am going into the first scrimmage and the guys are going to all go full speed and ready to go so they can get ready for Clemson.
Q: So far this preseason it has been a little cool and rainy. How do you think that is going to affect you come September?
CR: Actually I have no idea. We can't predict the weather in the future so we have to go with what we are practicing in right now, and practice for both the rain the heat. No matter what the weather we are going to go to Death Valley ready to play.
Q: What do you prefer? Cool weather or warm weather?
CR: Well, I am a Florida boy so I personally want it warm. But that is up to debate, once the game starts you really don't focus on the weather, it is all about the game.
Q: You are going into your second year as the starting quarterback. How do you feel that having a year of experience under your belt will help you in the coming season?
CR: I think it is a great experience, the chance to go out there and be a little bit sharper and a little quicker. I can make reads a little bit faster and be able to see the defense a little bit better and that helps me make better decisions, which is one thing that I needed to work on in the off season. Making better decisions with the football is going to help the team win and by having that one year of experience will help.
Q: You are a history major, so if you could have dinner with one person in history, who would it be and why?
CR: If I could have dinner with one person it would be Martin Luther King Jr., just for the fact that he has been such a cornerstone in the lives of black folks across America and the civil rights movement.
