THE Loss TONIGHT...
- Makes the Demon Deacons 10-4 on the season.
- Gives the Deacs a three game losing streak -- the longest of the season.
- Gives Coach Petersen a 10-4 record at the helm of the Wake women's program.
- Drops Coach Petersen's overall record to 198-131.
- Drops Wake's overall record to 363-490.
- Gives the Deacs their first loss at home this season.
- Gives the Deacs a 0-2 record in ACC action.
- Drops Wake's record against Virginia to 2-55.
Lowest free throw percentage in five games (lowest before... .571 @ Hawaii -- Highest .941 against Kentucky)
The Deacs in Overtime:
This is the third overtime game this season and Wake Forest is 1-2 after tonight. The first was against Hampton, where Wake defeated the Pirates, 82-75, while against Hawaii, the Demon Deacons fell, 68-64.
Overtime vs. the CAVS:
- All-time, Wake is 0-2 in overtime against the Cavs.
- The first time the two teams pushed it into overtime was at the ACC tournament on March 3, 1989, a 68-67 loss, while the most recent overtime meeting was on Jan. 28, 2000, where Wake fell in double-overtime, 76-73
