Opening Comments...
"They played us the way they should. Sometimes teams that don't have much size can put in lineups that are a bit aberrant. To their credit, they kept playing "after the slow start". It is going to take us a while to function like we want to. Tomorrow we play a very good team in George Mason, the type of team you probably don't want to play right now. They have four veteran starters and we will obviously need to play much better."
On Justin Gray play at the point...
"It will take some time. As you know he has not played many minutes at the point in the past. Eight assists and only two turnovers -- we will take that.
On the play of Harvey Hale...
"He played well. We need some guys off the bench to play well and I am very happy with the progress he is making."
On getting the ball to Eric Williams in the second half...
"It is usually a pretty good plan. We would have like to do it more in the first half, except he only played eight minutes because of fouls. There will be games when we will need to find other ways to score, but tonight it was obviously successful."

"I thought we did a great job. The biggest difference in the game was the battle down in the paint. They would catch it and score and they would defend in the post. They did a great job of continuing to play and running in transition. They out rebounded us by 10 and that is not something that was surprising. We are a smaller team and one of our big guys didn't come on the trip, which would have helped us under the basket. I am really proud of my guys. They are trying to learn a new system and we are on the road in a tough place and we never played an exhibition game."
On the Wake Forest defense...
"When Wake went into zone defense we struggled and used some time-outs. From there we got some guys doing different things and then they switched the defense. The change is defense is when they took the lead and we couldn't score many points against them."
