Wake Forest Head Coach Skip Prosser

On the game:

"I thought Wisconsin played really, really well. We're up nine, we're up 10, bang, bang, bang. They just hit a ton of big shots. I want to praise those guys. I'm also proud of our kids. Hard fought, well-earned `W'. I thought the crowd was a huge factor, especially the students. They continue to amaze me. It was a good win for our kids."

On free throw shooting:

"26 out of 29 is pretty good. Part of it is a function of who takes them too. Good shooters have a tendency to be good free throw shooters. Lesser shooters have a tendency to be less effective free throw shooters. At the end, of course, we tried to get the ball in the hands of our better free throw shooters. It looked like we actually practiced some of that stuff. They came through."

On Justin Gray:

"He has been maligned a bit. We said early, it's a big time game for big time players. He's a big time player. He certainly made shots when he had to make shots, especially his free throws."

On Harvey Hale:

"Harvey (Hale) made a big shot on the baseline. I want our guys to be fearless without being foolhardy. I thought it was a pretty good shot - 10 foot shot on the baseline. He makes it in practice. At the end of the day, I don't want our guys to play scared. I'd rather us play fearlessly. That was a fearless shot. That being said, it's nice when it goes in."

Wisconsin Head Coach Bo Ryan

On the game:

"You got to play. You have to play every minute. You have to play every possession. I've never bought into making a comeback gets you tired. This happened that happened. It was a 40 minute game with a lot of possessions, and they were a few possessions better. We played hard. We fought through a couple of bad spells there. Those bad spells happen because you're probably not getting something done, so then you have to recover from that. They had a few bad spells. They hit their free throws in the end."

On what Wisconsin will learn from the game:

"We'll take some things from the tape. Guys needed to pick other guys up, you get a couple fouls or get a couple rough spots with passes. But when you look at a game with that many possessions, with 11 turnovers, we did a pretty good job of taking care of the ball. A couple of Kameron (Taylor's) turnovers came where on the way to the basket he had a quite a bit of contact, but he's got to be strong enough to handle it. There's a hundred things we'll learn from this, what will be the greatest, I can't tell you."

On Eric Williams:

"There is so much more to defense than just seeing a matchup on one guy on another and looking at points. We tried to make him work for everything. He got what he earned. I thought our guys earned what they put up. He's pretty good. I don't think I'm the first guy saying that about Williams."

On Justin Gray:

"We knew he could score and everybody else wanted to talk about his turnovers, but if you shoot the ball you can't turn it over. He went left, he went right, he pulled up, he hit some threes. The one three, he hit in transition. He got his points in different ways. If there is a guy going to a spot and shoots the ball and gets 37 points, then that's a problem. But, when you get into a multiple possession game like this and he gets that many touches and chances to do things and he's in a rhythm, he was scoring in different ways. It's not like he said you can't do this or you can't do that."
