WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Senior Justin Moose, junior Ryan Solle and sophomore Pat Phelan were selected to the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region, the organization recently announced. Moose, who earned second team in 2003, was named first team for the second straight year, while Solle and Phelan each were chosen second team.

Moose was named first team All-ACC, Top Drawer Soccer third team All-American and a Hermann Trophy semifinalist. He led the Demon Deacons in points with 23 on seven goals and nine assists. The All-American is the school's all-time leader in assists with 29 and ranks seventh all-time in scoring with 65 points (18 goals and 29 assists). Earlier this season, Moose tied an ACC record with four assists in one match and was the only player in ACC history to record the feat in a single half.

Solle set a new school record for assists in a single-season with 13 -- besting the previous school record of 10. Solle not only led the Demon Deacons and the ACC, but also ranked fifth nationally in assists. The co-captain recorded three assists in one match twice this season. With 23 career assists, Solle ranks tied for fourth all-time in Demon Deacon history.

Phelan spearheaded a Demon Deacon defense that registered nine shutouts this season and posted a 0.97 goals against average. He started all 21 matches and recorded his only point of the season against Duke. Phelan was named to the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic All-Tournament team, Carolina Nike Classic All-Tournament team and was a Top Drawer Soccer second team All-American.
