Wake Forest Women's Basketball Hosts Lipscomb

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The women's basketball team will close its three game home stand with the annual middle school day, Monday, Dec. 19 at 11:00 a.m. against Lipscomb University. Middle school students from around the Triad will be present at the game to cheer on the Deacs.

The Demon Deacons are coming off a strong 80-51 victory over Coppin State on Saturday evening. In the game, four players scored in double figures including seniors Liz Strunk and Cotelia Bond-Young, who both put up 20-plus points. The win also snapped a one game losing streak and improved the Wake Forest overall record to 4-3.

Lipscomb has not played since Dec. 3 and enters Monday's meeting with an 0-6 overall record.
