Winston-Salem, N.C. - Head Coach Skip Prosser
On the game...

"It was a good win for us coming out of Christmas. On the defensive standpoint we played a bit better. I am sure we will have a different take on it once we watch the tape. On an offensive standpoint I think that the difference was our ability to make some cheap baskets, which we were lacking in the past. We are happy to get out of here with a win and now we need to get ready for East Carolina."

On Shamaine Dukes ...

"He allowed us to play at a faster pace with him in there. I feel more comfortable with that pace. I thought that for a slow start he did well. We weren't getting any cheap basket and that is something that has been One line up was three and one and the other didn't like the way we were playing. I just felt that every trip down the floor was a grind. Traditionally we have been a good cheap basket team, making points off the fast break, offensive rebounding or out of bounds play. I wasn't comfortable with the way we were playing and a change was worth trying."

On Dukes almost breaking the assist record...

" I knew that he could break the record, but I am not a big individual award guy. think this is the ultimate team sport. I would feel foolish if I was to leave someone in the game just so they could break a record and then if he came out because he rolled an ankle. I would rather break his heart a little bit than break his ankle. I have done it that way for 34 years and I am not resistant to change. It is the individual versus the team.

Head Coach Barclay Radebaugh
On the game...

"First of all, Wake Forest is very good. We knew coming in they presented a problem for a team of our size. You got to pick your poison. (Eric) Williams is so good, (Justin) Gray is so good. When they shoot the ball like that, it's tough to match up. You can't play Williams without a double team when you're our size. You just can't. Nobody in the country with our size can play Williams without a double team. When you double down, and Wake shoots the ball that well, they're going to be a tough out for anybody. They're so well coached and so well disciplined. We're not able to get into our press and cause any kind of chaos there. They handled that very well. Their overall size and strength inside gave us fits."

On Dukes...

"He has a lot of poise with the ball. He makes great decisions. I was so impressed with his decision making. He found open people. He is very tough to keep in front of you. That's something we've struggled with this year to begin with, and when you have a player with his ability driving the basketball, what do you do? Help off Gray? Help off Williams? It's just a tough match. I like the way he plays. He's an excellent basketball player and has a great future."

On Kyle Visser...

"They're so big inside. You've watched through the years just the development of (Kyle) Visser. He's gotten better by the minute. You see from his freshman year to now. I was at the University of Miami, from then to now, his improvement is woah. He's a player. You can tell he's got tremendous work ethic and tremendous attitude. His unselfishness we saw on film. He's tough in the high-low, and when you have Williams posting up low, he gives you a tremendous advantage with his height and size."
