Pendergast Joins Media Relations Office

Winston-Salem, N.C. - Tripp Pendergast has joined the Wake Forest athletic department on a full-time basis as a media relations assistant after working in the office as an undergraduate for the past four years.

Pendergast is the media contact for cross country, track and field, women's golf and women's soccer. As a student, the native of Atlanta, Ga., handled the publicity efforts for the Demon Deacon women's golf program and assisted with many other sports.

"I am excited about the opportunity to stay at my alma mater," Pendergast said. "This fulfills a lifelong dream."

Pendergast graduated from Wake Forest in May 2005 with a degree in business.
