Parkhurst Named MLS All-Star

Former Wake Forest All-American and current New England Revolution defender Michael Parkhurst will travel to Columbus, Ohio to participate in the MLS All-Star game on Saturday.
Parkhurst joins five other New England Revolution players who were named to the MLS All-Star team. The squad of 22 MLS All-Stars will take on English Premier League club Fulham FC in the 2005 Sierra Mist MLS All-Star Game at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, at Columbus Crew Stadium (TV- ABC).
Parkhurst has played and started in all 18 of the Revs' games this season. Along with goalkeeper Matt Reis, Parkhurst has played every minute this season. New England stands in first place of the Eastern Division with an MLS best 36 points at the All-Star break.
