First Jim Grobe Show To Air Tuesday Night

The first "Jim Grobe Show" debuts Tuesday night, August 23, as the Wake Forest ISP Sports Network begins its broadcast year covering the Demon Deacons. The program will air statewide from 7:00-8:30 p.m. from The Loop Pizza Grill in Winston-Salem's ThruWay Shopping Center.
"Voice of the Demon Deacons" Stan Cotten will be joined in the first half hour by Wake Forest grad Mit Shah of the Twin City Quarter, the show's presenting sponsor, former Deacon Dewey Hobbs of the 1946 Gator Bowl team and Vanderbilt radio voice Joe Fisher. Coach Jim Grobe will take questions from callers from 7:30-8:30 p.m.
The second "Jim Grobe Show" of the season is set for Tuesday night, August 30, two nights prior to Wake Forest's season opener at home against Vanderbilt. Athletic Director Ron Wellman will be Stan Cotten's guest during the first half hour and will take calls prior to Coach Grobe.
