Project Pumpkin, Wake Forest's biggest annual service event in it's 18th year, took place Thursday afternoon, October 26 on Hearn Plaza (the Quad). This is the sixth year that student-athletes have sponsored their activity, "Deacon Decathalon" and more than 90 student-athletes including the entire men and women's soccer teams, women's tennis team and volleyball teams participated. More than 1,000 children from Winston-Salem and the surrounding area were able to "trick or treat" safely with the Wake Forest students.
