
Remy, Hanley Named to Scholar All-American, Region Teams

Wake Forest women's soccer players Elizabeth Remy and Kristina Hanley were recently named to the NSCAA/adidas College Women Scholar teams. Remy was named a second team scholar All-American while Hanley was an honorable mention All-South region selection.
Remy, a senior from Norman, Okla., is a psychology major with a 3.37 grade point average. The forward led the team with 23 points on the season, including nine goals and five assists. In addition to the second team scholar All-American selection, she was a first-team scholar All-South region honoree. Remy has also been honored as a third-team All-American and a first team All-Southeast region selection by Soccer Buzz magazine this season.
Hanley, a junior from Hickory, N.C., is also a psychology major and holds a 3.38 gpa. The midfielder scored one goal and one assist on the year. Hanley was also named a second team All-Southeast region selection by Soccer Buzz.
