Deacons Touch Down In South Florida

Wake Forest has set up its headquarters at the Westin Diplomat Hotel on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Hollywood.

The Wake Forest football team arrived in South Florida shortly before 1:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon. Many members of the Orange Bowl Committee, including CEO Eric Poms and President Albert Dotson, Jr., greeted the Deacons when they stepped off their charter plane in Fort Lauderdale.

Wake Forest has set up its headquarters at the Westin Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Deacons begin their South Florida practice schedule on Thursday morning, followed by a visit to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in the afternoon.
