Winston-Salem, N.C. - Wake Forest women's soccer coach Tony da Luz has announced the signing of five players to the class of 2010.
"This class is extremely athletic and has great goal scoring potential," said da Luz. "We have four legitimate natural goal scorers in Kaley Fountain, Allie Sadow, Sarah Winslow and Jill Hutchinson. We recruited Caitlin Farrell as a defender but she scored over 140 goals in her high school career, so who knows? They all have very different talents but the common thread is athleticism and finishing ability. I don't think we have ever recruited a better attacking group of players. Defensively, Laura Morse will bolster us in goal and Bess Harrington will add depth to our core of centerbacks. This class will make a huge impact on our success in the immediate and distant future! This group has character, talent and a strong work ethic. August can't come too soon for Wake Forest women's soccer fans."
