Plackemeier To Appear At Autograph Session Saturday

Former Wake Forest All-American punter Ryan Plackemeier will appear Saturday, April 1 at an autograph session located at Cahill and Swain in the Northside Shopping Center. Plackemeier will be on hand to sign autographs between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

In 2005, Plackemeier won the Ray Guy Award as the nation's best punter. He was a consensus first team All-American, receiving first team honors from the American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, CBSSportsline.com, Draft Insiders, ESPN.com, Football Writers Association of American, Rivals.com, Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News and the Walter Camp Foundation. Plackemeier was named first team All-ACC for a third straight year and became only the fifth player in Wake Forest history to be a three-time first team All-ACC selection, joining Bob Bartholomew, Norman Snead, James McDougald and John Henry Mills.
