Reifers, Simpson Earn More All-American Honors

Senior Kyle Reifers and sophomore Webb Simpson, who combined to help lead Wake Forest to a third-place finish in the NCAA Men's Golf Championships, were both named to the Golfweek All-American Team, presented by Titleist.
The honors continue to accumulate for Reifers and Simpson, who proved to be one of the top duos in college golf this spring. Reifers was previously named to PING's All-American second team and Simpson was honorable mention. Both players were also chosen to the All-ACC team.
NCAA Champion Oklahoma State, which held off Wake Forest in the final round of the national championships, swept the individual awards. OSU's Pablo Martin was Golfweek's National Player of the Year and Jonathan Moore, who won the NCAA individual crown, was named National Freshman of the Year. Both were also named first team All-American.
Duke's Ryan Blaum was the only ACC player chosen to the first team. Reifers and Simpson were joined on the second team by the Georgia Tech's Cameron Tringale and Kevin Larsen.
