Two Players Ruled Academically Ineligible For Fall 2006

WINSTON-SALEM, NC - Two Wake Forest football players, Demir Boldin and Brandon Ghee, have been ruled academically ineligible for the 2006 season, athletic department officials announced Friday. Neither player will participate in any football activities during the fall while they concentrate on academics.
Boldin, a redshirt sophomore wide receiver, played in nine games in his debut last year. He started six contests and made 15 receptions for 224 yards. Ghee, a cornerback, redshirted the 2005 season as a true freshman.
