WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 11 Wake Forest women's soccer team takes on the Davidson Wildcats on Friday, Sept. 15. Kickoff is set at 7:00 p.m. under the lights of Spry Stadium.
The Demon Deacons (6-1) will look to extend their winning streak to seven games against a Davidson team who, after going winless in their first three games, have put in six goals in their last two outings.
Wake Forest will look to build on a solid home victory against UNC Greensboro, where an early goal by sophomore Camelyn Dillon propelled Deacs to a 1-0 victory.
The Wildcats will bring their 2-2-1 record to Winston-Salem with the hopes of knocking off the No. 11 ranked Demon Deacons. The Wildcats had a slow start, but they have put together two solid performances in their last two games. Davidson's attack features junior forward Kristen Koehrn, the reigning SoCon Player of the Week.
