Vallos Selected ACC Offensive Lineman Of The Week

Greensboro, N.C. - Wake Forest offensive tackle Steve Vallos was selected as the Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday.
Vallos played all 73 snaps on offense and graded out at a team-best 95 percent in the Deacons' 20-10 victory over Syracuse on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 290-pound senior from Boardman, Ohio recorded 7.5 knockdown blocks with zero missed assignments as the Deacons totaled 363 yards of total offense, including 245 yards on the ground.
Vallos, a member of the 2006 Lombardi Trophy and Outland Trophy watch lists, was a second team All-ACC selection in 2004 and an honorable mention choice in 2005.
